TANC,
on behalf of SF Team Tibet, will hold a candle light vigil in
solidarity with Tibetans in Tibet who self-immolated. Just recently, on
Jan 8th, Sopa Tulku from Golog succumbed to his injuries after setting
himself on fire. Two days prior, Tsultrim and Tennyi around 20 years of
age from Ngaba county also passed away after setting their bodies on
fire in the center of Ngaba town. This brings us to 15 Tibetans who have set themselves on fire protesting China’s occupation of Tibet and demanding the return of His Holiness the Dalai Lama since March 2011.
